Antique Victorian 14k Gold Scarab Ring With Letter Provenance Inscribed 1897

Rare antique 14k gold ring set with a large ceramic scarab. The scarab has rows of hieroglyphs on the underside. The setting has a simple engraved geometric design. It is inscribed on the inside with a dedication and the year 1897. The ring came with a letter I will pass on to the buyer.
