Description
Rare antique Georgian era spinner ring with a shield shaped carnelian stone engraved with the French word “PAIX” meaning “peace.” It is engraved backwards so when it was stamped in wax, it read the correct way. The flip side is engraved with the initials “M.L.W.” A thin but ornate band holds the stone.
