Antique Afghan Carnelian Intaglio in Silver Pendant

Antique sterling silver pendant with an ornate design. It has a large carnelian intaglio with the image of a deer. I’m not use of the age, but it appears to be antique. Afghani in origin.

Measures about 2 1/4” across in total. The intaglio measures 1 3/4”. I’ll include one of my 18” sterling silver chains (pictured) , although it is a little thin for the piece. You can switch it out at your own discretion.

Excellent antique condition with minor surface wear from age.
