Antique 14k Gold Secret Compartment Ring Monogram J.D. Dutch Hallmarks c.1860s

Antique Victorian 14k gold ring with folding panels that reveal a secret compartment. The second panel displays the monogram J.D. The ring features puffed designs along the shoulders and hand-engraved details on the front panel. The back of the band has a fluted design. Has Dutch oak leaf hallmarks on the underside of the panels.
